The three cottages are a haven of peace and tranquillity, situated around the delightful courtyard of Foulsyke, an impressive Manor House dating back originally to the 16th century. They have been tastefully converted from the former barn and stables to provide spacious, warm and comfortable accommodation that fully reflects their 5 star rating.

There is a wide range of excellent mountain, valley and lakeside walks from the door and the local wildlife includes red squirrels, deer, peregrine and buzzards. Foulsyke is an ideal base for touring, with Cockermouth (7 miles), Keswick (10 miles) and road links to much of Lakeland, the Borders and the Cumbrian Coast. A 10 minute walk brings you to an award winning inn offering restaurant and bar meals.
